Andell Bobby McMath was born March 25, 1980, to Alice McMath and Anthony Petty in Miami, Florida. Andell departed this earthly life and went home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 23, 2020. Due to premature birth, Andell was nurtured by his godparents, Ada Mae and Johnny McCray Sr., in his formative years. The McCrays were instrumental in laying a Christian foundation for Andell in his early years. Andell was raised in Ozark, AL by his mother and stepfather Andrew before the family finally settled in Enterprise, AL.
After graduating from Enterprise High School, Andell joined the US Navy. After returning from the Navy, Andell often worked with his cousin, Andrell remodeling houses. He also worked as a tow truck driver for Ideal Roadside. However, Andell's passion was music. Andell enjoyed performing. He had the opportunity to travel and perform in front of adoring fans.
Andell was many things to many people- a son, a father, a mentor, a brother, a cousin, a friend, and a confidante but most of all Andell was loved. Andell's family is comforted by knowing that before leaving this earth, he dedicated his life to Christ and accepted him as his personal savior.
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving mother, Alice Moore of Ozark, AL; father, Anthony Petty of Miami, FL; children: Alexis Lanhammer, Andell McMath Jr., Andaija McMath, Kendell McMath, Arielle McMath, Amalachi Theiriult, Avion Johnson, and Chris Bandy; a devoted fiancée, Carmen Cruz of Ozark, AL; brothers: Terrell McMath of Dothan, AL, Anthony Petty Jr. of Miami, FL; sister, Antonese Petty of Miami, FL; godmother, Ada Mae McCray of Texasville, AL and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
