Annie, the second child of Homer and Beatrice Neal McCarter was born December 13, 1938, in Iron City, GA. She was a lovely child with a quiet positive attitude, a quick smile and an inspiration to all. Annie was nurtured and trained in a Christian home. She loved the Lord and was a dedicated and faithful servant to God, her church, and family. Her favorite scripture which she often said was, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me", Philippians 4:13. She was a devoted worker and served in many capacities in her church, and in the community. She was an amazing cook and took great pride in preparing unique dishes for family gatherings and special occasions. She leaves a rich legacy of love, hope, and faith. To know her was to love her.
Annie was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Ulysses McCarter, and a sister Flora Jean Mcdougald. She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving and devoted sisters: Mary Long, Pearline Bolden, Olea Steede. She shared a special relationship with Cindy Kleine Gregory (Andre) who she loved and cared for from birth, along with her nieces, nephews, cousins, a sister-in-law Yvonne McCarter and host of other relatives and friends.
