Brenda Marie Griffin

Mrs. Brenda Marie Griffin was born November 29, 1954 to the late Carolyn Harris and Joe Nathan Harris.

She accepted Christ at an early age. She was a member of the New Mt Zion Baptist Church where she served faithfully until her health failed.

She married Charlie Griffin Jr. of July 7, 1978.

She departed this life on Sunday, April 12, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Faleshia Griffin; her mother, Carolyn Harris Powe; father, Joe Nathan Harris and her beloved stepfather, Robert (Phil) Powe; one brother, James Harris

She leaves to cherish her memories a loving husband, Charlie Griffin Jr.; one son, Charlie Griffin III;  four grandchildren, six great grandchildren; three sisters: LaRhonda (Paul) Jackson, LaShonda (Lamar) Hall and Tamika (Doug) Dawkin; six brothers: Charles (Sambo) Harris, Robert Jr. (Nora) Powe, Ricky (Shalinda) Powe, Danny (Sadie) Powe, Michael (Pam) Powe, and Louie (Michelle) Powe all of Dothan, AL; two-sisters-in-law: Grace Shivers of Dothan, AL and Gladys (Robert) William of Seattle, WA; two brothers-in-law: Kenneth Griffin and Jerome Baker of Dothan, AL and a host nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
