Mr. Charles “Redd” Myhand
Was born October 16, 1951 to the late Mr. Julius Myhand and the late Mrs. Lessie Mae Myhand Hollis in Pike County, AL.
Charles is proceeded in death by his mother and father. A sister Mrs. Annie L. Myhand Johnson. Two brothers L.C. “Peter” Myhand, and Thomas “Kitt” Myhand. One grandson “Dee: King.
Charles received his education through Dothan City Schools, and was a Carver High School alumi.
After high school he joined the United States Army and after his Honorable Discharge Charles started his career as a over the road truck driver. He drove many years for Kenworth Trucking Company of Dothan, AL. Brewton Block Company and many others. He then went on to start his own fencing company.
In his free time he loved spending time with family playing his bass guitar, and singing at the L&J music hall, which was a place he built with his very own hands for his quartet family to sing in.
Charles leaves to cherish his memories his twelve children; Charles (Felica) Myhand, Shawn Myhand, Melissa (Charles) Lamoley, Kareem (Angela) Poke, Allerie (Stephanie) Gilmore, Latonya Gilmore, Lattifany Kahn, Lateisha (Joey) Elliot, Jerome Swain, Ladonna His two sisters; Mamie Myhand Swain, and Jean Myhand Price who cared for him so dearly during his illness. A loving niece; Ms. Cynthia Myhand, his companion Carrie. Two uncles; Willie Joe (Christine) Myhand, Carroy C (Carrie) Myhand; His barber and nephew Mr. Reginald Myhand. Forty two grandchildren. Forty one great great grandchildren, a host of other nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, cousins and friends.
