Clifton Lamar Bolden

Clifton Lamar Bolden was born on September 14, 1974 in Newark New Jersey to the late Arletha Bolden and Emory Mays. Clifton was preceded in death by his loving mother Arletha Bolden, Grandparents Eddie and Jewel Bolden Joe and Jennie Mays; three aunts Mable Joann, Georgia; one uncle Eddie Bolden Jr.

Clifton Lamar Bolden gained his precious wings on April 25, 2023 at home with his loving family.
Clifton received his education in the Newark, NJ public school system and later attended Ashford High School. Clifton worked with the City of Ashford for several years before joining the Perdue Farm Team which later became Wayne Farms for 14 years until his health declined.

Clifton was blessed with a large and loving family. Clifton was a loving, free spirited person. He loved his family very deeply and anyone that knew Clifton, knew that Clifton Jr. was his world. It was always, “My son this” and ”My son that”. Clifton would give his son any and everything. Cliff enjoyed hanging out with his family friends on the Block playing cards, listening to music and on any given Sunday, Cliff would be talking about his favorite football team, The Green Bay Packers.

Clifton leaves to cherish his memory, Rhonda Bolden, his one and only son Clifton Bolden Jr; his father Emory(Michelle) Mays, two brothers Cornelius Bolden of California; Octaven Mays of Limestone Alabama;  Two sisters; Tiffany Afford and Kim Curry both of Dothan, Alabama. Four Uncles; Frank (Betty) Bolden of Dothan, Alabama, Richard (Angelika) Bolden of Ashford, Alabama, Paul (Cheryl) Bolden of Dothan, Alabama and Charlie Mays of Ashford, Alabama. Five Aunts; Bennie (Willie) Teague, Sarah Johnson, Katherine Bolden all of Ashford, Alabama Jewel Bolden of Henderson, NC and Cathy (Ann) Bolden of Dothan, Alabama. Mother in Law, Cora (Johnny) Jackson and Father in law Willie Cee Jackson, all of Ashford, Alabama.
Two sister in laws; Tahesia (Tyreen) Underwood and Latrika Kirkland of Dothan, Alabama. Four brother in laws, Chris Walker of Ashford, Alabama, Willie Jackson and Ron Jackson both of Columbia, Alabama, Gary (Christine) Jackson of Cowards, Alabama and Anthony Crawford of Maryland.
