On the night of January 29, 2021, Dawkins Jr Hudspeth was called home.

Dawkins Jr. Hudspeth was born June 21, 1948 in Henry County, Alabama to the late Dawkins and Anna Hudspeth. Dawkins Jr. Hudspeth gave his life to Christ at a very young age.

Jr. was preceded in death by his parents Dawkins and Anna Hudspeth; two sisters: Elizabeth Hudspeth and Carey Hudspeth; three brothers: Marvine Mills, Kenneth Hudspeth and Alvin Hudspeth; one grandson, Darius Hudspeth.

Jr. leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Paula Boatwright Hudspeth; eight children: Lisa Hudspeth, Greg (Sandra) Hudspeth, Pamela (Joe) Marsh, Brenda  Hudspeth (Paul) Jenkins, Delvin Ragland, Debbie Hudspeth (Lionel) Bissainthe, Regina (Ricky) Huntley, and LeTonya Lynch; three stepchildren: Brittany Johnson, Leisha Johnson, and James Boatwright; twenty-five grandchildren: Brandi Holyfield, Krystle Holyfield, Jerome  Holyfield, Tylan Marsh, Brianna Marsh, Greg Marsh, Kayla Hudspeth, Kaylan Huntley, Sam Huntley, Tyler Huntley, Delvisha Ragland, Nigua (John) Murry, Delvin Ragland II, Jada Jones, Racquele (Jhamek) McKinzie, Jesius Ragland, Dounquavia Dickens, Bershita Dickens, Bill Dickens, Briana Dickens, Janiyah Peterson, Essence Petterson, Na’Sheen Jackson, Quantesha Peterson, and Shuntanya Harris; twenty-one great grandchildren; eight sisters: Bobbie (Paul) Johnson, Glemma (Billy) Davis, Elmeta Boatwright, Jennell Cooper, Annie B. Collins, Anna Ruth (Howard) Valentine, Connie (Howard) Armestead, and Donna Moorehead; two brothers: Ray Charles Hudspeth and Bobby Charles Hudspeth; two special nieces: LaBrenda Condry and Tudy Hill; a special friend, Tracy Wilson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
