Obituary

Elizabeth Grant Williams the daughter of Oscar Kelly and Ludie Lee was born September 9, 1926 in Barbour County, AL. She was one of four children. Elizabeth was called to rest on Friday, December 6, 2019 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL. She was a devoted and faithful member of North Highland until her health failed. She enjoyed fishing and cooking.

She was a life long citizen of Dothan, AL.  Elizabeth was converted at an early age and united with Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Henry County. In 1944, she united with North Highland Baptist Church where she remained a faithful member until her health failed. While at North Highland, she sang in the choir, served on the usher ministry, and received much joy working with prayer breakfast.

Elizabeth was married to the late Charlie J. Williams. Later after in her life she married to the late Robert Grant.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Grant; one daughter, Shelley Walker

She leaves to cherish her memory four sons: James Earl Williams, Michael J. Davis of Raleigh NC, and Kevin Grant (Sherece) of Prattville, AL and Alaric Walker of Dothan, AL; one daughter, Stephanie Wimbush Teague (Louis); four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; one son-in-law, Clenance Walker and a host of other relatives and friends.
