Obituary
Ella V. Morris was born in Henry County Alabama on November 20, 1935. Ella, affectionately known as DINAH, was the youngest daughter of Manes and Annie Bell Jones who both preceded her in death. Ella accepted Christ at an early age. She was a faithful member of Greater Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. Ella Morris was united in matrimony to Charlie Morris and to their union 6 amazing children were produced.
Ella was well-known in her community and a cornerstone to her family. Her honesty, wit, and devotion to all who knew her will be deeply missed.
Ella was preceded in death by eight of her nine siblings, brothers: Manes Jones Jr., R.C. Jones, Adam Jones, James Jones, L.C. Jones, and Tellis Jones; sisters: Annie Lois Spann and Ruthie Mae Jackson; two grandsons: Jarvis D. Morris and Christopher R. Mackey.
She leaves to cherish her memories her brother, Paul (Geraldine) Jones; three sons: Charlie (Ivory) Jones of Dothan, AL, Odessa (Virginia) Morris of Dothan, AL, and Allen (Rosie) Morris of Dothan, AL; three daughters: Debra (Isaac) Winston of Montgomery, AL, Sonya (James) Horace of Daleville, AL and Elidion Morris of Dothan, AL; twenty grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
