Genie Lee Williams

Ms. Genie Lee Williams left this earth on June 24, 2020 and was welcomed home with our heavenly Father Jesus Christ.

Ms. Williams was born in Haleburg, Alabama on October 28, 1934 to the late Eddis Williams and Willie Lee Neil Brown.

Ms. Williams was a very hard worker. She loved her family and friends. She finished high school in Talladega, AL. She was a mother to all her sister children as well as her nieces and nephews. Even though she had disabilities, the Lord still blessed her. She loved to cook, clean, and sew. She did more than most people have done in their lifetime. She was just an all around good woman. She will always be loved and missed.

She was preceded in death by her father, Eddis Williams; her mother, Willie Lee Neil Brown; her sisters: Prellas Grimsley, Rose McGowon and Noble Walker.

She leaves to cherish her memories her sisters: Earline Tiller of Dothan, AL, and Ruby Jewel Reese of Naples, FL; two special great nieces that took care of her, Tekella Thornton and Leslie Tiller; two special great nephews: Demetrice Tiller and Clifton Thornton; two great great nieces: Nyeshia Powell and Dystinany Tucker and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
