Jerva Jay Culver

Jerva was born July 25, 1971, in Newark, NJ to the parentage of George and Inez Culver.

Jerva departed this life on June 17, 2022, at Southeast Medical Center, Dothan, AL. He confessed his life to Christ at an early age,joining the Kennon Grove Baptist Church. He attended Henry County Schools, Abbeville,AL. both elementary and high scchool having a passion for band and basketball. Upon graduating high school 1989, he furthered his education at Alabama State University. He was employed by Southern Properties as a maintenance Supervisor, serving the cities of Ozark and Daleville. His quiet spirit and humble Mannerism gained him a lot of respect with family and communities he served. he was preceded in death by his parents,sibling, Eddie and niece Amari. He leaves to cherish his memories: three daughtersJermani,Jeniyah,Jenez Culver, one son: Jerva Jr., one grandson Chadwick, six sisters Joanne (Claude) Lee, Laretta Culberson, Geneva (Roger) Coleman, Jennifer (Noel) Scott, Rena Culver, Genelle Culver, two brothers Woodile (Natasha) Culver, Freddy (LaRenda) a host of uncles, aunts, nephews relatives and friends.
