Obituary

Lerue Freeman better known to many “SMOOTH LERUE” was born to the late KC and Allean Freeman on June 17, 1946. Lerue accepted our Lord and Savior at an early age.

“Smooth” was a very loving father, granddaddy, brother, uncle,  father-in-law and friend and he was the type of person that would definitely speak his mind and wouldn't hold anything back. He would tell you how he feel and didn’t care if it hurt your feelings but before he depart from you he would always tell you he loves you.

“Smooth” was a family man and he loved spending time with    everybody in his family. Lerue will forever be missed by his family.

“Smooth” was preceded in death by his parents; two sons: Adam Freeman and Johnny Freeman; one brother, Calvin Freeman; three sisters: Louise Freeman, Lula Mae Adair and Doris       Freeman.

“Smooth” leaves to cherish his precious memories three sons: Lerue (Cassandra) Freeman, Charles (LaTisha) Freeman, and  Terry Freeman; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren; five sisters: Pearlean (Roy) McKinney, Maelean Anglin, Pasty Ann Greenwood, Martha (Henry) Callins, and Ada        Freeman; three brothers: Sonny (Mattie) Freeman, Lester (Naomi) Freeman, and AZ (Angelina) Freeman; one sister-in-law, Doris Freeman; a very special friend, Johnnie Mae Phillips and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
