LV Peterson

LV Peterson, affectionately known as "LB," passed away on December 19, 2023 at SOutheast Health, Dothan, Al. He lived in Gordon Alabama his whole life. Farming was his passion. He worked on the Dillard Farm for many years, until his health failed him. His favorite soap operas were, The Young and Restless and The Bold and Beautiful.

He was born to the late Theodore and Cora Lee Peterson on March 30, 1945. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son Randall "Jug" Peterson; two sisters, Clemmie McGriff, Mary Jean Peterson and one brother, R. Lee Peterson.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his chidrenchildren: Willie (Trisha) Peterson, Tammy (Chris) Davis, Tracey Peterson, LaWanda (Keith) Ealy, Vicki (Billy) Morris, Rachel M. (Anita), Corey Peterson, Sabrina Peterson and Paul B. Peterson. Sisters: Clara Mae Brown, Mary Alice Caine, Annie Lee Dixon, Ruby Futch. Brothers: Robert Peterson (Bobbie Ann), RC Peterson, Arthur (Retha) Peterson. Seventeen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Special niece: Denise Peterson Gammons. A special nephew: Deshen McGriff. Special friends; Darin, Amy and Ben Dillard, Tirrell Melton, Jimmy L. Dixon, Ruby Dean and David Beckwith, Jr.
