Mary L Rabb

Obituary

Grieve not nor speak of me with tears. But laugh and talk of me as though I were beside you. I love you so and was heaven here with you.

Mary Rabb was born in Dothan, Alabama on February 1, 1966. She was the youngest of 10 children. She as baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on February 25, 2012. She attended the Rosewood Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She came to love the Bible’s message and had great pleasure in sharing it with others. Her faith in the  resurrection hope as promised in God’s Word kept her grounded as she fought her disease. Mary set aside time each month to endeavor in her ministry by regular pioneering while her health allowed. In her final days she grew closer in love and faith with her sister Ola, her “second mom”. She also was diligently cared for with tender loving care at the end by her sister Charlene, both of whom were among the family with Mary at the end. In her leisure time, Mary loved playing cards with friends and family and could play with the best of them! She will be missed

She was preceded in death by her mother, Johnnie Mae Rabb; father, Bennie Charles Rabb and one (adoptive) brother, Benjamin C. Rabb

She leaves to cherish her memories two sons: Timothy (Michelle) Rabb and Douglas Rabb; four grandchildren: Timothy Rabb Jr, Tayzia Green, Tavaris Rabb, and Dezel Collins; six sisters: Bobbie Jean (Sam) Brown, Ola Mae Curry, Rosie Lee Freeman, Charlene (M.C.) Willis, Jewel Ethel Rabb, and Teresa Thomas; six brothers: Jerry Rabb, Prentiss Charles Rabb, David Earl Rabb, Seacer Thomas Rabb, Charlie Shelley, and Clifford Eady; one sister-in-law, Eva Pearl Rabb and a host of other relatives and friends.
