Minnie Bell (Graham) Farmer

Minnie Bell Farmer (lovingly known as Mama Scrap) transitioned from her earthly home to her Heavenly home on Friday morning, June 10, 2022 at her home in Dothan, Alabama. Minnie Bell Farmer was born January 26,1926 in Shorterville, Alabama to Haley Ann Montgomery Graham and Fred Hollinger, both of whom preceded her in death. She was a faithful memeber of Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church, Gordon, Alabama and a dedicated member of the Usher Board for many years until her declining health. Minnie Bell (Mama Scrap) was a loving and affectionate wife to her husband of 57 years, Raymond Farmer Sr., who peceded her in death. She was the mother of eight children. She was preceded in death by three daughters; Minnie Faye Farmer White, Mable Farmer Frazier, and Martha Helen Farmer Ford. Her loving memories will be cherished by her family. She is survived by five loving and devoted children: Robbie Farmer Dawsey, Raymond Farmer Jr., Jessie Farmer, Mary Farmer Pickett and Faye FarmerJames (Jerome). She was the grand-mother of 24, two preceded her in death. She has 42 great grandchildren, 4 preceded her in death and 10 great great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn a loving and caring sister-in-law: Earmesta Whiters of Dothan, Alabama; also, a loving cousin: Sallie Montgomery Jeter of Dothan, Alabama and a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own children and other relatives and friends.
