Jamilah, affectionately called “Millie”, began her life on September 6, 1983 in Ozark, Alabama. She was called home to be with her Lord, on February 24, 2021.
She was a faithful member of The First Missionary Baptist Church of Ozark AL.Jamilah graduated from Carroll High School in 2001. From a young age Jamilah wanted to be a nurse. She attended Wallace Community College to pursue this dream, and received her LPN license in 2004, and she later became a registered nurse in 2006. Determined to finish strong, Jamilah attended the University of Alabama and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in 2009.
She leaves to cherish her memories to her loving parents, Leon and Annie Miller (Ozark, AL.); son Ayden “Butter” Edwards, who was her pride and joy; her brother Dee Miller; her sister Khalilah Gray; a special niece Ameyah “Meme” Gray, all of Ozark Alabama; her grandmother Eva Miller (Elba, AL.), and a host of special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
