Mother Laura Lee Everett

Mrs. Laura Lee Rodgers Everett was born October 25, 1920 to the late Thomas (Tom) and Mary Jane Rodgers in Banks, AL. She married Willie Richard Everett in January of 1956. They were in covenant until his death in 2006.

She was educated at Perote High School and a faithful member of Mt Hilliard Missionary Baptist Church for many years until she moved her membership to First Missionary Baptist Church in Ozark, AL.

Preceded in death by her parents Tom Rodgers and Mary Jane Meadows Rodgers, her husband Willie R. Everett; daughters, Johnnie Mae Purvis and Annie Mae Pitts. Siblings, Mary Mell Boykin; Ola Mae Rodgers; Annie Carol Thomas; Sandy Rodgers; George Rodgers; Thomas Rodgers and Mildred Rodgers Jones.

She leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter, Willia Dean Rodgers, one brother, Jeremiah Rodgers, one sister, Clara Rodgers Knighton; six Grandchildren: Clarice D. Rumph, Eastpoint, GA; Nathaniel B. Rumph, Ozark, AL; Laura Nazario (William), Huntsville, AL; Tusha Rumph, Ozark, AL; Lisa Pitts, Norwalk, CT and LaDonna Pitts, Bridgeport, CT; 38 Great   Grandkids. She was also Blessed to witness six generations and held the title of a Great, Great, Great Grandmother! She also leaves to cherish a host of Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
