Artis "BoPete" Reed Jr,was born January 5,1954 to Artis Reed Sr. And Maxie Reed. BoPete was the only child born from this union.

Artis was preceded in death by his father,mother,1 brother Carlos Lyndsey and 1 grand child Kylar Reed

Artis is survived by 3 sons Amos Matthews, Opp,Al,Deitrich (Gloria) Edwards,Ozark,Al and Bryan Reed,Opp,Al Seven grandchildren Lorianna Jarrett, Kayla Edwards, Deitrich Edwards Jr.,Kylee Smith,Syniyah Crittenden, Koryeon Reed and Kylin Reed .2 brothers,Melvin Lawrence and Otis Reed 2 sisters Rosetta Marshall and Jessie Mae Hightower along with a host of nieces,nephews, cousins and friends.
