Mr. David Lee Stanyard

David Lee Stanyard was born November 27, 1946 in Dothan, Alabama to the late Louise Stanyard Pittman and James (Shack) Thompson. David gave his life to Christ early in childhood and attended New Bethel Baptist Church. He graduated from Carver High School in 1969. David was employed by Medford Lincoln Mercury where he  tirelessly worked for many years managing the Car Detail Shop. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and especially caring for his mother.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents and one  brother, John E. Pittman.

He leaves two children to cherish his memory: Melonese (Rodney) Close of Columbus, GA and David Lee Stanyard Jr. of Donalsonville, GA; four brothers: James E. Stanyard Sr. of Atlanta, GA, Willie C. Pittman Jr. (Sonnie) of Dothan, AL,  Louis Pittman of Palm Bay, FL, and Herbert Pittman (Sharon) of Hampton, VA; one sister, Dayse Pittman of Melbourne, FL and a host of other relatives and friends.
