James Daniel Smith was born on December 19, 1971 to the late Deacon

Jessie L. Smith and Mother Velma L. White-Smith. James Smith attended Ashford High School where he was lovingly known by his friends and football team as Juicy. James was very loving and kind to everyone. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. James volunteered with Ashford Fire and Rescue and enjoyed driving trucks, traveling, and being a caretaker to many at Flowers Hospital for several years. James Smith was a member of Agape Powerhouse COGBF, where he served as a faithful deacon, musician and media technician.

James was preceded in death by his parents Jessie L. Smith and Velma L. White-Smith and his sister Inez (Sue) Smith.

James leaves his cherished memories to his brothers and sisters: Velma Henderson, Jessie ( Carol) Smith Jr., Evelyn Smith, Willie (Bo) Smith, Alexander Charles (Laura)  Smith, Alexanderia L. Smith; special and loving aunt, Mary Jane (George) Lawton; a uncle, James Edward (Gloria) Smith, and a host of very special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
