Mr Jimmy Ray Griffin

Jimmy Ray Griffin age 67 passed away on October 31st 2021 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan,  AL. He was born July 1st 1954 in Wicksburg, AL. to L.C. and Minnie Jewel Griffin, who preceded him in death. Jimmy attended Geneva County Training School,  and graduated in 1972.  He then joined the United states army and served for eight years in which he received an honorable discharge. Jimmy was a member of Countyline Missionary Baptist Church where he sang in the Male Chorus faithfully until the church closed due to the pandemic. Jimmy is survived by a devoted friend Dolores Debose; Six  siblings Linda F. Livingston( Charles) Diane Griffin, John Lewis Griffin Jesse Lee Griffin (Marilyn) Jerry Wayne Griffin (Linda)  James Lamar Griffin, who preceded him and death and Jackie Tyrone Griffin (Bridgette); Three nephews Darron E. Long, John A Griffin (Vangie) and  Le’Jerry Griffin; One  niece Andrea R. Long,  and several great nephews. Best friends Randy young, Jimmy Lee Andrews, and  Lloyd Andrews
