Johnny Ray Mc Glon was born on October 12th, 1952 in Henry County to the late Evelyn Mc Glon and Hubert Mc Glon. He departed his life on Monday August 30th 2021 at 1:11 am in his home. Preceding his death Johnny Ray’s Parents Evelyn Mc Glon and Hubert Mc Glon, Brother Kenneth Mc Glon and Grandmother Ossie Dozier. He leaves to cherish the love of his life for 45 years his wife Mrs. Patsy Mc Glon (You would never see one without the other). His one and only daughter Mrs. Tamekia (Ramon) Johnson of Dothan, AL. Two grandsons Keishun Green and Kaden Caliste and one granddaughter Kyra Mc Glon along with one great grandson Journee Kolstyn Green. He leaves to cherish four Siblings ;Larry (Erma) Dozier; Terry Mc Glon,;Rosetta (Patrick) Smith; Winnie (Michael) Smith and a loving Stepfather Ossie Campbell (Dee). An a host of nieces an nephews, aunts, uncles and friends who will miss “Johnny G”.
Johnny Ray became a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church at a young age and remained a member there his entire life. He graduated with the class of 1971 from Dothan High School and continued his education at George C. Wallace with a Degree in Auto Mechanics. He later started his own successful detail business called Johnny’s car wash for 25 years. Johnny true passion was making music from Gospel to R&B soul or just a family function. He was the master of putting smiles on everyone’s face through his MUSIC.
