Melvin O’shawn Hawkins was born on September 7, 1961 to the late Alto an Mary Hawkins. He spent his life doing what he loved the most driving trucks for the last 11 years as a Owner/Operator. He is proceeded in death by his Mother Mary Hawkins, Father Alto Hawkins and a brother Benjamin Hawkins. Melvin is survived by his sisters An Brothers; Annie (Johnny “JJ”) Johnson; Ervin ( Sandra) Baker ;Silvester (Pam) Hawkins; Queen Johnson; Brenda Hawkins; Rose Hawkins; Patricia Walker ; John (Mercedes) Hawkins ; Willie (Monique) Hawkins; A host of nieces and nephews & two special neighbors  Annette Tobie and Connie Teague.
