Mr. Nathaniel (Nate) Smith was born in Geneva County, Hartford, Alabama on August 20, 1934 to the late Donnie Miley and Jennie Lee Smith. Nate was Preceded in death by his Father , Mr. Donnie Miley an His Mother Mrs. Jennie Lee Smith, One Daughter Emma Thomas, one Son Fredrick Smith, Infant twins Three brothers Donnie Miley Jr; Jim Henry Miley; Robert Morris Jr Two sisters Evelyn Jean Jackson; Edna Jean Brown. For more than fifty years, Nate worked at Dothan Country Club. Unofficially, he started getting golf balls off the field, while skipping school. He would later work as a caddy and in the end as a locker room attendant. Very few  people at the Dothan Country Club did not know ‘Nate’. He Leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted wife of 67 years; Ida M. Smith, daughter Linda Harrison, Son Michael (Mary) Smith, Grandchildren: Anthony (Sonya) Thomas, Eric (Natalie) Thomas. Octavious (Antwenette) Smith, Coltena (Veander) Reynolds, Jasmine Smith, Christopher (Terrishia) Smith, great-grand children: Ja’Khia, Teniyah, Dayjha,Zy’Keith, Emmeri, Parker, Journee, Dashawn, Adrianna, and Taniyah, three brothers Ronnie (Diedra) and Lonnie (Deborah) Miley; one sister Yvette Miley, a daughter-In-Law Loretta Smith, A sister-In-Law Katie Morris Like-a-sister Ozella Smith, God daughters Linda,  Shalunda and Christi Wimes, a devoted friend, Rick Singletary, Just-like-a-son, Tony Davis, Nieces ;nephews ;and a host of other relatives, friends and A Special Fellowship.  But most of all everyone will miss that SMILE.
