The book of life opened for Robert Lee Jackson on September 12, 1959 in Dothan,
Alabama to the late Ruby Jean Williams and Henry Walker.
Robert grew up as a “Country Boy” in Gordon, Alabama. He was always very quiet until he got to know you, but he would always give you a big smile.
Robert attended and finished high school in Ashford, Alabama. After his many years of living in Alabama, Robert decided he wanted a taste of the “city life”. He later moved to Miami, Florida.
Robert was employed for over 20 years as a Security Guard for the 163rd Street Mall in Miami, FL, until his health begin to fail. He was a loving and dedicated employee.
Robert began to attend a local church and subsequently accepted the Lord, Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. He was a loving and good hearted person. To know him was to love him.
A Great voice from heaven called his name from above to a loving Father saying to this smiling soul, “You fought a good fight and you have finished your course”. Welcome home my son. His soul winged its flight from this world of sin, sorrow and pain to a place of eternal rest. The final words in the “Book of Life” were entered and the cover closed for Robert Lee Jackson on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Bethany House, Auburn, Alabama.
