Mrs. Lois Teague

Lois Anthony Teague was born June 5, 1936 to the late Mary Anthony and Sam Anthony of Ashford, AL.

She met and married Willie C. Teague (W.C.) and together they raised one daughter, two grandchildren, five great grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was a faithful member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Columbia, AL for several years. She was very much a well respected member of this church.

On April 17, 2020, God called a good and faithful woman of God home and said Job Well Done!

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Laura Ann Teague; two brothers: Travis Anthony and Joe Anthony; her mother-in-law, Calmeta Teague; father-in-law, Tommy Teague; two brothers-in-law: Tommy Teague and Henry Teague.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 63 years Willie Teague; one daughter, Kathy Teague of Utica, NY; two grandchildren: Katrina (Kenny) Jackson and LaTonia Teague Johnson both of Montgomery, AL; five great grandchildren: JeQuann (Brittany) McCree, Akira Shorter, Alan Lee Shorter, Winter Storm Oliver all of Dothan, AL and Kristasha Lee of Chattanooga, TN; four great great grandchildren: Jr., Aiden, Chansen, and Mari; three sisters: Louise (John) Thomas of Ashford, AL, Alica Ware and Maella Barber both of Ozark, AL; two brothers: Otis (Christa) Anthony and Buddy Anthony; one sister-in-law, Addie Mae Buzz of Columbia, Al and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
