Mrs. Maudie L Dwight

Maudie Dwight was born August 17, 1954 to Maudie and Leon Bloxton in Warwick, GA.

She graduated from Dothan High School in 1972. She moved to Newark, NJ where she worked as an employee at Sahindler Elevator for 20 plus years, retired and later moved and settled into Jonesboro, GA where she loved her fur babies snowball, misty and baby.

Maudie departed this life August 17, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Maudie Bloxton; father, Leon Bloxton; sister, Bessie Curry; brother, Frank Ward; Leon Bloxton; two aunts: Willie Bell Small and Lilly Mae Sistrunk; best girlfriend, Patricia Preston; godson, Jayden Davis.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 35 years, Lamar Hodge; five children: Cotina, Keir, Tanisha, Crystal, and Lamorr; eight grandchildren; three sisters: Blondie (Jimmy) Bloxton, Diane (Walter) McFarguhar, and Willie Mary (Pouncy) Patrocinio all of Dothan, AL and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
