Ms. Edna Ruthell Rogers

Edna Ruthell Rogers, a resident of Ashford, Al. transitioned from this life to the next on Monday April 11, 2022.

Edna Ruthell Rogers was born on November 16, 1936, in Houston County, Alabama to the late New James/ Eugene Rogers and the late Ethel Jenkins. She accepted Christ as her savior at an early age.  She was a member of the Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in Ashford, Al.

Edna Ruthell Rogers was preceded in death by her father New James/Eugene Rogers, her mother Ethel Jenkins, sisters: Inell Sherman, Edna F. Rogers, Mary (M.C.) Dickens, her brother Curtis Rodgers Sr., her nephews Melvin Bluster and Tony Bluster.

Edna Ruthell Rogers leaves to cherish her loving memories four sons: Johnny Rogers (Karen), Willie Rogers (Linda), Billy Rogers (Shirley), Christopher Rogers (Paula). Her sisters:

Louise Bluster, Ruby Nixon, Lillie M. Parrish, Virginia Coburn, Luverne Higgins, Mary F. Cunnings, and Loren Rodgers. Her brothers: James (Eddie) Rodgers, and James F. Rogers. A host of granddaughters, grandsons, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
