Ms. Robbie Sue Humphrey was born to the late Robert Charles Hollis and Bonnie Mae Franklin on September 10, 1951 in Henry County, Alabama.
She attended the Henry County School System and was a member of Greater Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church.
She was affectionately known to her family and friends as “Sweet Robbie or Sue”. She was truly a kind-hearted person who would do anything for you, whenever she could. She never hesitated to help others when needed. On any given day, you would find her telling her grandkids how she felt. They always joked with her about how much she made them laugh at the things she would say to them when they worked her nerves:
“Slow that care down!”
“Stop running in & out my door or I’m gone show you something!”
“Don’t waste nothing on my floor!”
“Let me check your pockets to make sure you only got one snack!”
“Take that hot jacket off!”
On any given day you would find her requesting 2 diet Dr. Peppers or a couple of Ice drinks and a box of ham and cheese hot pockets.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Charles Hollis; her sister, Bobbie Jean Hill; and her daughter, Vevelyn Dvon Davis.
She leaves to cherish her memories her loving mother, Bonnie Mae Franklin; two daughters: Tracy Bryant and Yolanda Scebbi; seven sisters: Brenda Franklin, Caroline Thornton, Beverly Hollis, Sheila Hollis, Vanessa Brooks, Phyllis Flournoy, and Cynthia Simon; two brothers: Rodney (Yesenia) Hollis and Kenneth Hollis; two aunts: Viretta (Buford) McNealy and Minnie Brown; one uncle, Willie James Hill; five grandchildren: Enza, Kauilani (her Lil Pig), Cordarius, Andrevis, and Andrea; six great grandchildren: Mya, Lil Man, Jhami, Shy, Kota, and Denver; a special life long friend, Rosemary Bighem Johnson; her three special guys: Edward Lewis, Kalin Hall and Martavious Walker and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
