Rachel Lee Oliver

Rachel Lee Oliver was born in Dale County, Midland City, Alabama to Willie Jay Jones and Lillie Mae Thomas. She was the youngest girl of five children. She is survived by two siblings  A sister Rose Griffin of Long Island, New York and a brother Willie Edward Jones (Robbie) of Dothan. She was Predeceased in death by her parents Willie Jones an Lillie Thomas ; two brothers; James Wiggins Jr. and Alther Lee Jones . She married Eddie Earl Oliver and to this union four children were born. Our Mama/ Mama Rachel worked numerous years at Ansell Inc. and retired from there. Rachel was known for her kindness, caring and sweet and mild manner spirit. If you ever visited her you would find her watching tv, and in her room sitting at the foot of her bed  daydreaming about good things and family. And to all who knew her knows she loved her sweets especially cakes. She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Her Spirit lives on by Eddie Earl Oliver, One daughter Sharon Oliver, Three sons Kenneth (Valorie) Oliver; Vincent Oliver; Anthony Paul Oliver; all of Dothan, AL. Nine grandchildren Apollonia Oliver; Kenyetta Oliver; Chanayah Oliver; Yasmin Oliver; Vincent McMiller; Vincent Jr; Victory Oliver; Torrin and Rashun Oliver. Thirteen great grandchildren numerous nieces and nephews . Four sister-In-Laws Elsie Weems; Ludie (Sammie) Jackson; Delores Baxter; Connie Oliver; Evelyn Harris An One brother -n-Law Lamar Oliver of Montgomery, AL……... We Will Miss you dearly ( Our Mama)
