Sister Shirley Reese, gained her wings on August 11, 2021. Shirley was born on September 19, 1964, in Dothan, Alabama, to Ann Ruth Walker and Lewis Stewart. She graduated from Columbia High School, where she excelled in her studies. Shortly after, Shirley married the love of her life Jimmie Reese and became a loving mother, friend, and mentor to many. She devoted her life to Christ and her family. She dedicated her time and energy to everyone. Her beautiful smile and caring heart healed, provided, delivered, and gave hope whenever she entered your presences.Shirley was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Ruth Walker; her father, Lewis Stewart; her sisters, Willie Ann Walker, Ruby Stewart, Annie Daniels; and her brothers, Willie Roy Walker,Clyde Walker, Jimmy Stewart and Roy Charles Stewart. Shirley is survived by her husband, Jimmie Lee Reese, Jr.; six children (and spouses); Keotta Reese (Chelsea), Antoinette Reese, Shirley Reese, Jacquariel Reese (Dada), James Reese (Chyenne), and Jamila Reese; her godmother, Antoinette Adams; three brothers, Bubba, Danny Stewart, and Bobby Walker;eleven sisters (and spouses); Lillie Taylor (BJ), Mae Ealy (Ricky), Willa Shaw (James), Mary Reed, Emily Wilson (Donald), Ruthann McGriff (T.J.), Dorothy Stewart, Patricia Andrews (Horris), Penny Green (Eddie), Tina Reynolds, and Rhonda Johnson (Darryl); and a host of grandchildren and godchildren. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends. Shirley will be lovingly remembered and missed dearly by many.
