Obituary

After a brief illness Willie James Parrish went home to be with the Lord on October 4, 2019 in Newark, New Jersey. He was born March 3, 1940 in Abbeville, AL. He was the son of the late Curtis Barnes and the late Virginia Parrish Kelly.

He was preceded in death by his parents Curtis Barnes and Virginia Parrish Kelly, stepfather, Robert Kelly; sister, Betty Kelly Weems and two brothers: Jerry Kelly and Ray Kelly.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Annie Jewel Parrish of New Jersey; three sons: Willie James Parrish Jr, Curtis Parrish, and VanNess Parrish all of New Jersey; one daughter, Annette (James) Hill of Bealeton, VA; two sisters: Evelyn (Robert) Knight of Dothan, AL and Peggy (Bob) Jones of Abbeville, AL; two brothers: James Robert (Sue) Kelly of Ft. Gaines, GA and Jerome Kelly of Dothan, AL; seven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
